About

Hampshire Rural Group

Hampshire Harvest

An on-line resource promoting discussion and the sharing of good practice in rural ministry of the churches of Hampshire (England).
It aims to enable members of the group, which meets three times a year, to run continuous discussions on rural issues affecting their experience as clergy or lay members of churches in rural areas of the county. Some headings are listed on the right, but there is plenty of opportunity to start a new topic running. It’s over to you!
The Group is affiliated to the Rural Theology Association, and shares the same aims:-
1. To study the Gospel and develop theology in a rural setting.
2. Raise awareness of the nature of rural ministry, worship and mission in the world at large.
3. Discover ways of living in the countryside which embody a Christian response to the world.
